Advanced Orthopaedics and Sports Medicinetherapistsare specialized in all aspects of orthopedics—from knees, shoulders, and hips to spine, feet, and hands.
PT, DPT (PT Director)
Joseph is the Director of Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Therapy department and has been with the practice since 2006. He has been a practicing Orthopedic physical therapist since 1999. In addition to being a physical therapist he is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Michael Youngblood, PT
Michaelhas been a practicingtherapist since 1985 and helped start the Therapy department at Advanced Orthopaedics. During his extended career he has served in several capacities. He is trained in McKenzie approach which helps him in evaluation and treatment of complex spine cases.
Marisol Monasterio is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. She received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Psychology from the University of Houston in 1997, and Master degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2001. Ms. Monasterio received her Certification in Hand Therapy in 2006. She has been trained in advanced orthotics for the upper and lower extremity, and has specialized in the hand, wrist,elbow and shoulder post-surgical treatment.
Sini Mathew is a native of Pennsylvania, graduated magna cum laude from Temple University with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. She then went on to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple as well.
PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Shawn is a Houston native, born and raised in Katy. He studied at Texas State University to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science and then his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Originally from the DFW area (Grapevine), Mandi attended Houston Baptist University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Kinesiology.

Elizabeth comes from a family background of physical therapy. Her mother is a physical therapist, and Elizabeth grew up in her family's practice
